EL PATRONATO DE LA PASIÓN DE CALLOSA DE SEGURA was founded in March 1977.
The success and acceptance of the staging of LA PASIÓN were so great that it attracted a large number of enthusiasts, local personalities, and even the priests of the Parish of San Martín. This led to the realization of the need to prolong the celebrations over time and to seek the necessary means to give it the greatest artistic and social prominence possible. Thus, the idea was born to create a PATRONATO to support and safeguard the continuity of such a representation, with the involvement of all interested individuals and the participation of all socio-cultural institutions of the locality.

It is worth highlighting the altruistic gesture of the Local Artistic Group, which from the beginning freely provided all their existing belongings to the Patronato de La Pasión.
On March 16, 1978, the statutes were definitively approved, and the PATRONATO DE LA PASIÓN DE CALLOSA DE SEGURA was registered in the Provincial Registry of Associations of the Province of Alicante. The Assembly and the drafting of its Founding Act took place at the Parish House on March 4, 1977, and in August 1978, the first General Assembly was held, where the approval and registration of the Patronato were reported, thus marking the definitive start of its Board of Directors.
