THEME:
The theme of this competition should revolve around the Life, Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, and may include some motif from the city of Callosa de Segura. Entries that focus on the Representations of the Pasión of Callosa de Segura will be given higher consideration. We recommend coming to observe one of our performances.
FORMAT:
The poster must be 50x70 cm in size; otherwise, it will be disqualified from the competition. It should be submitted on a support of the same dimensions, such as foam board, canvas, or similar material, ensuring the artwork is perfectly displayed during the exhibition.

TECHNIQUE:
The works may be executed with any technique and color, as long as their reproduction does not pose difficulties for printing.
ADIMISSION DEADLINE:
The admission deadline for the works is March 19, 2024 inclusive. Posters with a postmark from the Post Office after this date will be disqualified.

JURY, VEREDICT AND PRIZES:
The jury's deliberation will take place at the exhibition site on March 22, 2024, at 8:30 PM.
The jury will be composed of the President of the Patronato (without a vote) and seven members chosen from among non-competing artists, graphic designers, and intellectuals. The verdict will be for one prize per category. Afterward, a decision will be made between the two awarded works from both categories to determine the 1st National Prize (Poster Announcing) and the 2nd National Prize. The awards will be as follows: 1st National Prize Panter €1,000 - 2nd Local Prize Ciudad de Callosa €500. Subsequently, from all the works by local authors in both categories, the Local Prize Patronato de la Pasión de Callosa de Segura will be awarded, €300. The verdict, which will be final, will be made public in this same section of the website the day after the verdict. The winners will be notified on the day of the verdict by phone.
The jury may declare the competition void if the submitted works do not meet their approval. If the prize is declared void, one of the second prizes from previous years will be chosen for the publication of the poster.
EXHIBITION AND AWARD CEREMONY:
All posters received before the admission deadline will be exhibited from March 21 to April 14, 2024, in the EXHIBITION HALL OF CASA DE CULTURA "REINA SOFÍA" in Callosa de Segura, located at Plaza Reina Sofía.
The award ceremony will take place at 12:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the exhibition venue, with the attendance of our sponsors and representatives from the City Council.
CONDITIONS:
A) All authors who wish to participate, whether professionals or amateurs, of any nationality and over 18 years old (or legally represented minors), can participate. The submitted works must be ORIGINAL AND UNPUBLISHED, not having been submitted to this or any other competition, nor awaiting a verdict. Works whose intellectual property rights do not entirely and without exception belong to the author and participant cannot be submitted. Authors are responsible for any claims regarding the authorship of the works and potential plagiarism. The works should make an impact or be attention-grabbing from a distance. The works should not be signed, inscribed, or labeled, indicating the MOTTO on the back. Submitted works should be accompanied by a sealed envelope with the MOTTO and the category on the outside and the participant's personal details (full name, photocopy of ID, phone number, email, and postal address) inside. Category II must also include a CD or similar containing the work in digital format with the highest possible quality in JPEG, PDF, or TIFF formats. Authors may submit as many works as they wish, but the same author cannot receive more than one prize.
All costs of sending the work will be borne by the participant.
B) The awarded works will become the property of the Patronato de "La Pasión de Callosa," reserving the right to use them for purposes it deems appropriate..
C) The remaining works, once the competition is over, will be returned to the authors who request it by calling 623 30 73 37 between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, within a maximum period of 30 days, either by certified mail or for personal collection. All costs of returning the work will be borne by the participant.
D) Works not claimed will be kept in deposit by the Patronato, reserving the right to use them for purposes it deems appropriate.
E) Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these rules by the contestants.
F) The Patronato has the authority to resolve any circumstances not outlined in these rules.
