Welcome

El Patronato de La Pasión de Callosa de Segura welcomes you and thanks you for visiting this website we have created to showcase the activity we have been developing since 1969 in the city of Callosa de Segura, located in the south of Alicante province, in the Vega Baja del Segura region.

Since 1969, we have been continuously performing during the annual Lent season, the mystery of the Life, Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth; and during the heartfelt Christmas season, we stage the Zarzuela "Los Pastores de Callosa". Both performances are an integral part of the culture and traditions of Callosa de Segura, being the only place where they can be fully appreciated. Recently, we have incorporated the performance of Porta Celi, a play that narrates the life, death, and appearance in Callosa of San Roque.

Through this website, you can learn about all the cultural offerings we provide, as well as various contest announcements such as the National Poster Contest for La Pasión and the Provincial Contest for school-age children and young people in the disciplines of drawing, poetry, and narrative.

Over the years, the Patronato has become a cultural entity made up of hundreds of people who selflessly strive to maintain and promote the performances of La Pasión de Callosa, Los Pastores and Porta Celi.
